Bequests from Estate and Will
John credits his success to a Wheaton education and experience. Through a bequest from his estate, he is leaving a lasting legacy to help the college continue to thrive and grow.
"Wheaton has been a significant part of my life since the first day of orientation. I had the opportunity to explore my interests, develop my skills and discover my passions.
I played varsity lacrosse, participated in clubs and student government and was a Dean's Intern for the Admission Office. I also completed two internships that prepared me for my career. One summer I was at the Boston Stock Exchange and for two summers I was at Cantor Fitzgerald in Boston, where I ultimately went to work after college and spent 23 years there.
I am grateful for the education and experiences that Wheaton provided me, and I want to give back.
That is why I created an endowed fund to support internships. I also made a bequest for a portion of my estate to go to Wheaton to leave a lasting legacy to ensure that the college continues to thrive and grow."
